The best things in life are free. You can see the Ocean City Air Show, headlined by the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, for free along the beach and boardwalk on Saturday and Sunday. Rehearsal day is Friday.

Here we have two crowd-pleasing statues on the Ocean City Boardwalk. People stop to photograph the soldier, who’s standing at attention with an American flag, and Ms. Liberty, holding a small bouquet of flowers. Once again, the Ocean City weather is outperforming the forecast this Friday a.m., first day of Memorial Day weekend. It’s been beautiful and sunny all morning, but cooler than yesterday, after that New England front passed through last night.
